Sometimes, words alone aren’t enough to express what we’ve been through. Trauma, stress, and emotional pain don’t just live in our thoughts—they’re held in our bodies. Somatic or body-based therapy gently helps you reconnect with your physical self as part of the healing process.
In this approach, we pay attention to what your body is saying through tension, posture, breathing, and sensation. You might not even realize that your body is holding on to old fear, grief, or shame—until you’re given the space to notice it.
This therapy doesn’t require you to retell every painful memory. Instead, it offers a way to slowly build safety and release what’s been stuck, using gentle techniques like grounding, breathwork, movement, and mindful awareness.
Our goal is to help you feel more at home in your body, more present in your life, and more empowered in your healing. Somatic therapy is especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, dissociation, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm.
The body remembers—and it can also lead the way toward healing.
