Rebuild trust, deepen connection, and find your way back to each other with compassionate couples therapy in Phoenix, AZ.
Whether you’re navigating conflict, disconnection, betrayal, or a major life change, couples therapy offers a supportive space to understand each other and rebuild a stronger bond.
Arguments that go in circles with no resolution
Growing distance, resentment, or feeling unseen
Struggling to communicate or feel heard
Rebuilding after betrayal or broken trust
Every couple hits hard moments. When conflict, distance, or hurt start to feel like the norm, it’s easy to lose sight of the connection that brought you together.
Using attachment-based approaches like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we help you understand the cycle beneath the conflict, communicate in ways your partner can hear, and rebuild safety, trust, and closeness.
See the pattern that keeps you stuck, instead of blaming each other.
Learn to share needs and listen in ways that build safety.
Move from disconnection toward trust, closeness, and partnership.
In your language
All of our therapists are native Spanish speakers and offer culturally informed care. We understand that culture, family, faith, and language shape the way each couple connects, argues, and repairs.
We also work with bilingual and bicultural couples, including couples where each partner expresses themselves best in a different language. Each person can speak in the language that feels most comfortable, so both partners feel heard and understood.
Who it is for
How we begin
We use research-based approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, at a pace that respects both partners.
You meet together with your therapist to talk about what brings you in, your concerns, and what you hope to gain from the process.
Each partner has one individual session to explore their personal history and their experience within the relationship.
With a fuller understanding of both of you, couples sessions continue with clear goals and a plan.
$145 per 55-minute session. We accept the same insurance plans as for individual therapy: Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, Tricare, Cigna, and HSA. We also accept third-party payments, such as from churches or organizations. See fees
Evening sessions and weekend mornings, so you can attend without disrupting work or family life.
In person in Phoenix, Mesa, or Scottsdale, or virtually, as long as both partners are in Arizona, Utah, or Idaho during the session.
Frequently asked questions
You can begin the process individually. Changes in the way you communicate, respond, and relate can have a positive influence on the dynamic between you.
We recommend starting with weekly sessions to give the process continuity. As progress is made, the frequency can be adjusted to fit the couple’s needs.
Every couple is different. The length depends on your goals and what you are going through. Throughout the process, we will review your progress together and adjust the plan as needed.
Our work is not about deciding who is right or taking sides. We seek to understand both partners’ experiences, identify the patterns that create conflict, and build healthier ways of relating.
Yes. What you share in therapy is confidential, with certain exceptions required by law, such as when someone’s safety is at risk. We will explain these limits at the start.
We work with a policy of transparency and do not keep secrets that could compromise the therapeutic process. This policy is explained and agreed upon at the start.

That is more common than you might think. Every process and every therapist is different. We use structured approaches, such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, that help identify the cycle keeping you stuck. We will also talk about what didn’t work before so we can do things differently.
Couples therapy works best when both partners feel safe in the relationship. If there is violence, threats, or fear of a partner, couples therapy is not recommended at that time. In those cases, we will help you find the right support, such as individual therapy and specialized resources. Your safety always comes first.
